Moving Uncle Drew! – Roadrunner Test

Although we cannot build robots during this time of quarantine, I (Toya) was able to program Uncle Drew, our robot, to test new programs for the next FTC season.

What I wanted to test out was a program called Roadrunner, developed by FTC team 8367, ACME Robotics. What’s so special about this program? Well, it allows your robot to move in the desired path!

Let’s see a running example:

Here, Uncle Drew is following the path that I created shown at the beginning of the video. This is extremely useful because it allows us to navigate our robot wherever we want it to during the autonomous section of the game.

We hope to use this program for the next season.
